Over 700 children cared for in 2025

The annual report of the Liechtenstein Day Care Centres Association has been available since the end of May 2026. The annual report provides a comprehensive insight into the association’s various activities during the past financial year.

Last year, the Association of Day Care Centres placed a particular focus on children’s rights. A playful approach was achieved, among other things, with a sticker album, which the individual groups used to explore key themes relating to children’s rights. The children enthusiastically swapped stickers and organised their own ‘sticker exchanges’.

Mission Statement

Last year, a steering group was set up to implement the mission statement. The steering group has broad support and includes representatives from all levels of the association. The guiding principle ‘The child is at the heart of our work’ was central to its work.

Declining numbers of children

Over 700 children in care, who occupied 88,448 care places across 18 facilities and were looked after by 169 staff members: despite these impressive figures, occupancy rates are falling and some places have remained vacant.
