Open Day
The art school Liechtenstein cordially invites you to this year's Open Day on Sunday, 16 November 2025. In addition to an exhibition of current works from the leisure courses for children, young people and adults, there will be several workshops.
A varied programme awaits visitors.
Painting studio for children: In the open painting studio, children can experiment creatively with different colours and
materials (led by Heike Brunner and Severine Gstöhl).
Collaborative painting: Participants will create a colourful collage of life-size figures and draw colourful portraits, which will then be assembled into a large mural (led by Martina Steinbacher and Adam Vogt).
Focus on the portrait: Draw the face of another person directly onto a glass pane behind which they are standing – an immediate, playful interplay of observation and representation (led by Giuliano Scherini). Glazes & surface structures: Working with glazed oil paints: Apply paint and break up the surface – removing or altering it creates exciting structures and effects (led by Jess de Zilva).
Bringing artworks to life: recreating poses from famous artworks and capturing them on camera. Backgrounds or props are added using simple image editing. A creative exploration of art history (led by Manuela Bischofberger, Marion Runer and Paul Trummer).
Throwing on the potter's wheel and free modelling: Try your hand at throwing on the potter's wheel and free modelling (led by Ursula Federli-Frick and Anna Stawarz).
