Hospizbewegung Liechtenstein

The aim of the Hospice Movement Liechtenstein is to enable dying people to live with dignity until the end.

The Liechtenstein Hospice Movement Association was founded in May 2001. Its primary objective is to improve the conditions of dying and to support affected people in their last phase of life by being there, giving time, having empathetic conversations, carrying and enduring together - to promote the best possible quality of life until the end.

Our self-trained and volunteer women and men have made it their mission to accompany people in borderline situations. They have all completed the "Practical Hospice Work" courses, which we offer in cooperation with the Stein Egerta adult education center.

As an official licensee for the Principality of Liechtenstein, we have been offering last aid courses in cooperation with the LAK since autumn 2022.

The topics are: Dying is a part of life; making provisions and decisions; alleviating suffering; saying goodbye. Five certified course instructors are available for Liechtenstein. The course lasts four hours and is free of charge.
